We Proudly Present Veterinary Technician Graduate Aubree McGrady
On October 27, 2021

“Love them!” These are the words Aubree McGrady used to describe the excellent professors at Stautzenberger College that helped her graduate from the Veterinary Technician Program.  “They took time to make sure I was understanding the material and were always willing to help.”  A love for animals and a recommendation from a friend her senior year put Aubree on this life-changing career path.

Aubree should be commended for completing her program - and she did it while dealing with her own hardships.  She lived on her own and supported herself by working a full-time job while attending school.  She helped to take care of her great-aunt.  Her boyfriend also contracted Covid and was put on life support - and still she persevered and graduated!

What you Learn in our Veterinary Technician Program

During the program, Aubree took several science classes like Microbiology, Veterinary Pharmacology, and even Veterinary Office Management.  This gives her a rounded knowledge of all the skills she needs to be a productive member of a Veterinary Staff.  She learned about:

  • Keeping proper records, executing client communication, and inventory skills
  • Proper laboratory techniques and diagnostic testing of pathogens
  • Medication classifications and indications including proper dosing

How Our Graduate Became a Veterinary Technician

Like Aubree, you too can attend Stautzenberger’s Veterinary Technician program and start helping animals and their owners live a fuller life.  Our program focuses on Fear Free Education and is fully accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).  Our graduates are prepared to take the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE).
