Meet Our Director of Financial Aid

Most students today have some concern over the costs of college - despite how affordable our program can be.  Thankfully, here at Stautzenberger College, we have wonderful financial aid advisors to help you through the process of paying for college, how financial aid itself works, and your loan repayment options.

Heading up our financial aid department is our own expert, Denise Ackley.  She was born and raised in a small rural town in central Pennsylvania.  She graduated from Stevens-Henager College with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.  She also holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

She began her career in financial aid in 2010 as a Financial Aid Advisor for a College in Ogden, Utah.  She then advanced to her first Director of Financial Aid role at a College in Dallas, Texas.  In 2019, she moved to Rockford, Illinois where she took on the role of Director of Financial Aid at Rockford Career College.  She is now the Director of Financial Aid at all three AHED College locations.

Mrs. Ackley is not all work, though.  She loves to watch sports and is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan.  She spends time with her husband and two sons.  She enjoys traveling.
