Graduate Highlight - Erin Nadolski

Having others' support could allow you to accomplish goals you never thought possible on your own. With someone at your side to listen after a hard day and give advice and encouragement, it becomes easier to make it through challenges. For recent Stautzenberger College graduate Erin Nadolski, having a support network changed the course of her future.

Ms. Nadolski always dreamed of having a career that directly helped people. However, it was her grandparents that gave her the inspiration and support she needed to take the first step. She enrolled in the medical assistant program at Brecksville campus to reach that goal. Even though she was working full-time as a caregiver, she managed to attend school and graduate from the program in January of 2019. She completed her externship at Saint Vincent Charity Medical Center in Solon, Ohio and has recently accepted an employment offer with Saint Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Ms. Nadolski also attributes her success to hard work and support from the lead instructor of the medical assistant program. “Thank you, Miss Ouri and all the staff who helped me achieve my goal,” says Ms. Nadolski.

We know that when you attend school, it's important to have people to support you. If you're not lucky enough to have supportive grandparents like Ms. Nadolski, we are here to help you address issues that even go beyond academic concerns. Our student services coordinator helps students who are struggling with budgeting, health and insurance issues, housing, transportation, substance abuse, domestic violence, and more. By discussing your concerns, you could become better equipped to handle difficult situations, find needed resources, and get motivated to complete coursework. Our goal is to help you make the most of your college experience and navigate any obstacles that may try to interfere with your career journey.

We hope Ms. Nadolski's story inspired you.
