Congratulations Practical Nursing Graduates

Congratulations to the 2020 first quarter Practical Nursing graduates who took the NCLEX-PN exam. They all passed on their very first attempt! I am proud to have them join the "100% PN family" of 2019 graduates who all passed the NCLEX-PN exam the first time as well. This is such a rare achievement for nursing students. I am inspired by the way our students encourage each other to succeed. Graduates from previous years of our program even return to help current students study for the exam.

I am so proud of my graduates. My faculty and I have worked closely with each of these students for the 14 months they went through the program. They are determined and committed to their profession. Even though my students work hard, they always find time for a kind word and smile.

At a time like this, I understand there is much uncertainty surrounding COVID-19. What I am certain of is that medical professionals are working incredibly hard. They are heroes in my eyes. These new nurses are all courageous as they put their own lives at risk to help patients fight COVID-19.
Congratulations again to these graduates. If you see any nurses, be sure to let them know that their compassion, optimism, and kindness do not go unnoticed.
