We are proud of our hard-working Dental Assistant graduate Ka’Meelah Taylor.  She attended our college during the Covid-19 pandemic and was successful in her goal to work in the dental field.  She found an excellent support system in our lead instructor, Kathy Becker.

What you Learn in Dental Assisting

If Dental Assisting interests you, you will learn about classes that lead to excellent Dental care - such as Infection Control Measures, Dental Care Delivery and Techniques, and Dental Specialties.  You will also learn the basics of Dental Office Administration.  Our program includes these classes and more, where you learn:

  • How to safely prevent infections in patients and workers
  • Correct handling of dental tools and implements
  • The ins and outs of specialized care like Orthodontia and Oral Surgery
  • Basic office procedures including scheduling appointments and insurance billing basics

How Our Graduate Became a Dental Assistant

If you have always been interested in the healthcare field, perhaps Dental Assisting is the right program for you.  Oral health care is very important to the overall health of people, and unfortunately is often overlooked.  Our graduates are ready for entry-level careers in the dental assisting field.
