Graduate Highlight - Talisha Bush - Practical Nurse

At Stautzenberger College, we prepare students like Talisha B. for a career that rewards not only themselves but also every patient with whom they interact.

Talisha's desire to serve others led her to enroll at Stautzenberger College. “I have always loved to help people,” she says. “It is my passion!” Just as Talisha strived to help those around her, so did her instructors help her whenever she needed them. “My instructors inspired me,” says Talisha.

Practical Nurse Instructors

Sometimes, Talisha struggled to balance her schoolwork with other responsibilities. Still, learning to manage her courseload did have a silver lining. “I have learned better time management skills,” she says. Talisha completed subjects such as Medical Surgical Nursing, Electronic Health Records, Maternity and Pediatric Nursing, and Fundamentals of Mental Health. She would like to thank all of her instructors for their assistance and reassure prospective students that the faculty members will help them as well. “The teachers from Stautzenberger in the PN program were genuinely willing to help!” says Talisha.
