Graduate Highlight - Medical Assistant Program - Kasey Lampson
On December 20, 2018

“I have never been good at school,” says recent graduate Kasey Lampson. “I was lazy in high school and never did my homework. I had to train myself to focus to succeed.”

Ms. Lampson always had a passion for the health field, desiring to make healthcare a more positive experience for others. Although she struggled academically in the past, she put in tremendous effort to turn that around during her time at Stautzenberger College. Her medical assistant instructors at the Maumee campus gave her the encouragement she needed to graduate. “My instructors never gave up on me,” notes Ms. Lampson.

Ms. Lampson completed her externship at the Urgent Care of Wauseon and was hired there. However, she moved away in July of 2018 and now works full-time for Canton Urology. She is proud to have overcome her challenges in school and enjoys helping patients find solutions to their own obstacles every day.

We hope Ms. Lampson's story inspired you. Whether you are interested in medical assisting or one of the many other programs offered at Stautzenberger College, please come in and talk to us today to find your career passion. Call 888.859.8225 or submit our Request Information form to learn more.
