Graduate Highlight - Brittany Windau Practical Nursing
On July 08, 2019

Each week, we love to celebrate our graduates' accomplishments with you. However, we're not the only ones proud of all that our alumni have achieved. Their employers are thankful for them as well. Kingston Healthcare Company would like to acknowledge Stautzenberger College graduate Brittany Windau.

“I love being a charge nurse at Kingston Rehabilitation of Perrysburg,” says Ms. Windau, LPN. “I'm thankful that the education I received at Stautzenberger College prepared me for my career. Providing genuine care to patients has always been my dream, and now I am living out that dream.”

Nurses like Ms. Windau provide not only physical care but also emotional support to patients. This allows them to cope with life changes resulting from an illness.

At Stautzenberger College, Ms. Windau took classes such as Pharmacology, Anatomy and Physiology, Medical Surgical Nursing, Nutrition, and Electronic Health Records to prepare for her current position. Many schools teach these courses.  What sets Stautzenberger apart is our instructors' passion for helping students understand material. Upon graduation, we want students to be prepared not only to pass the NCLEX exam but also to succeed in their new careers.  We are proud of our record that in 2019, 100% of the graduates who took the NCLEX exam passed on the first attempt!*

We are honored to have been part of Ms. Windau's career journey, and we hope to help you reach your professional goals as well. Our Diploma in Practical Nursing program prepares students for entry-level employment in nursing-related fields in as little as fourteen months.
