Animal Companion Care Technicians work closely with animals in a wide variety of settings. This highly crucial role monitors and maintains the health of animals big and small in a number of ways. Broadly speaking, Animal Companion Care Technicians assist in receiving new animals for their given organization, cleaning and maintaining animal living quarters and providing food and water. Animal Companion Care Technicians enjoy a variety of career paths as they advance their on-the-job experience with animal care. There are many paths to becoming an Animal Companion Care Technician, but one of the most comprehensive is through our program at Stautzenberger College. After you complete the Companion Animal Care Technician Diploma Program, you could continue with our online, 7-month Animal Welfare Business Management Associate Degree completion program.  That's only 17 months total to get an associate degree.
