Stautzenberger College is celebrating man’s best friend on Saturday, October 1, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. On that Saturday, the Brecksville campus, located at 8001 Katherine Blvd., will be hosting the second annual Dogtoberfest celebration.

Festivities include the Mutt Struttin’ Costume Contest, a doggie ice cream eating contest, the Dogtoberfest Dog Strut, dog adoptions, the canine catch or fetch contest, an agility course, pet portraits, an animal employment fair, food and beverage vendors, and much more. Proceeds from the event will benefit a variety of local non-profit animal welfare and rescue partners.

“So many of our programs are designed to help people find careers they love working with animals, so it just makes sense to invite dogs onto our campus for this special day,” said Brecksville Campus President John Girard. “We hope people will bring their furry friends out to help us celebrate!”
